Small talk is a cultural practice of the Anglosphere that we will encounter when speaking English as it simply belongs to English - both in professional and personal environments. As culturally distant as small talk is to us, with a few tips, techniques and practice in this communication situation, you may not become a master of it, but you will feel comfortable and confident in it.

Ryan has been teaching English with JCL for 2 years and has been a teacher in general for 10. Aside from here, he's taught in several countries and studied linguistics at university. Now he'll be leading specialized courses in Small Talk as well as Agreeing & Disagreeing.
